Grove Collective x Picnik Table Summer Camp welcomes kiddos ages 5-12 as campers and ages 13-18 as volunteers. All activities are trauma-informed, sensory-aware, and rooted in child led wonder. Camp is held on the amazing land of The Picnik Table which boasts 15 acres of preserved woodland, multiple trails, outdoor classrooms, a stream, and a stunningly restored barn studio located just 25 minutes north of Pittsburgh. The Picnik Table is committed to providing a sanctuary of tech-free camps and classes with a focus on preserving the foundational skills of art, nature, food and craftsmanship.

🛖 Each week, children will:
🌱Create their own forest village—complete with name, roles, and natural structures
🌱Learn the land, build a play economy, and practice circular decision-making
🌱Explore expressive arts with Brye, our art teacher
🌱PLAY! BE A KID!! Be spontaneous in the authentic connection with themselves and nature
🌱Be exposed to the arts of literacy through journaling, picturebooks, poetry and beyond
🌱Grow social-emotional skills through mindfulness, non violent communication, and guided conflict resolution
🥗 Each Friday from 12–2, families are invited to join us for a community potluck lunch and a camper-led village showcase—a time for celebration, connection, and storytelling.
