Join us for a rejuvenating Sound Bath Experience at Shelby Bottoms Nature Center, nestled in the heart of East Nashville’s lush greenway. As the day winds down, immerse yourself in an evening of restorative sound led by John Paul, a certified professional sound healing practitioner.
This unique session blends the ethereal tones of quartz crystal singing bowls, the deep resonant hum of upright bass, gentle chimes, and other harmonic instruments designed to guide you into deep relaxation. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Shelby Bottoms, you’ll be invited to release stress, quiet the mind, and reconnect with your inner calm.
In this special event. John wil be joined by Massood Taj. Massood's wide range of experiences expands 20+ years of work in the fields of Sound Meditation, Mindful Music, & "Deep Listening" programs in therapeutic settings, healthcare environments (cancer wards), schools, universities, senior care facilities, special needs communities & mind body retreats. He's a master shakuhachi player, a Japanese bamboo flute traditionally used for the practice of "Suzen" by Zen monks in a form of sound meditation with focus on breath control & production of harmonic overtones aimed to cultivate mindfulness and inner stillness.Born in a Persian culture & a Sufi heritage of poets like Rumi and Hafiz who color the themes and the tone of the discourses, satsangs and musical circles he facilitates.
