Music in the Café: The Look Aways

Join us for a special performance by The Look Aways in Café Cheeserie.

Every Thursday evening this summer from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Café Cheeserie hosts a Pop-Up Melt Shop featuring favorites from The Grilled Cheeserie’s popular food truck menu. A cash bar is also available.

About the Band

Started by vocalist Erica Wilkes, guitarist Ben Rice, and drummer Anson Hohne, The Look Aways began in 2016 as a trio performing bossa nova classics and jazz standards. Now, with the rhythm section completed by bassist Paul Defiglia, they have focused their group into a simmering performance of thoughtfully selected jazz songs and evocative originals. Straddling the rich jazz tradition, popular song, and avant-garde sound explorations, their live show takes audiences on a journey through the depths of the unnamable—the joys and sorrows of a life surrounded by a nature who’s always watching.
