2025 Battle of the Champions Nashville Weightlifting Club

Welcome to the 2025 Battle of the Champions!

Join Nashville Weightlifting Club for an Olympic weightlifting competition open to athletes of all ages and experience levels. Whether you're a Youth, Junior, Senior, or Master, this event is designed for you. The competition features the classic lifts: Snatch and Clean & Jerk, with each athlete having three attempts at each lift.

Registration:

• Early Bird Registration: $75 until May 11th
• Regular Registration: $100 until June 15th
• Late Registration: $125 until June 29th

Membership:
You don’t have to be a member of USA Weightlifting to compete in this event. However, if you're lifting as a Sanctioned member, your USAW membership must be current through July 12th.

Attire and Requirements:
USAW members must wear a singlet and comply with USAW rules.If your lifting as unsanction you do not have to wear a singlet. Please provide the correct weight class you will compete in (in kilograms). On new IWF weight categories:

New IWF weight categories effective June 1, 2025:

Men: 60kg, 65kg, 71kg, 79kg, 88kg, 98kg, 110kg, +110kg

Women: 48kg, 53kg, 58kg, 63kg, 69kg, 77kg, 86kg, +86kg

For the Youth age group, the categories are:

MEN: 56kg, 60kg, 65kg, 71kg, 79kg, 88kg, 98kg, +98kg
WOMEN: 44kg, 48kg, 53kg, 58kg, 63kg, 69kg, 77kg, +77kg
