Stop by CosMom ConShop and stay a while for our next Book Fair! This time, we're celebrating Indie Horror, so relive some positive student nostalgia by shopping the book fair and hanging out with awesome authors.
The event is free to attend but you should plan to bring a little spending money, because there will be plenty of temptation.
What does Indie Horror mean?
Indie generally means “independent”. For this book fair, we are accepting any content that has been self-published or published by small, independent presses.
While “Horror” is already a pretty broad genre, we are accepting any content that flirts with the themes, including paranormal/supernatural stories, general suspense, etc.
We will also accept stories or collections with cozy autumn themes that really evoke the fall season!
How do we participate?
There are two sides of participation for the Indie Horror Book Fair – Authors/artists, and shoppers that want to attend!
Books/paper media will be accepted until up to a week before the event. Media will be handled on a consignment agreement; we will keep 10% of sales so that authors can keep the other 90%. We believe that events celebrating creators should put as much of the earnings back in the artists’ pockets as possible.
Shoppers will also have the opportunity to sit and engage with fellow horror fans and spooky writers and creators who will be sharing some of their work and expertise during the event.
