Free Blood Pressure Check - Nashua Senior Center

Join us at Nashua Senior Center on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 11am - 12:30pm for free Blood Pressure Check!

+ High blood pressure is the number one cause of stroke. In fact, people with high blood pressure have a 50 percent higher risk for STROKE than those with normal blood pressure.

+ Having high blood pressure also puts you at risk for heart disease, kidney disease, disability and even death.

+ According to the CDC, someone dies of congestive heart failure every 36 seconds and has a stroke every 3 minutes. However, many people may not even realize that they’re at risk.

+ High blood pressure is called the silent killer because it does not cause obvious symptoms. To make sure your blood pressure is in the healthy range, have it checked regularly.

+ FMDH EMS offers free, monthly blood pressure checks around Valley County to help control your blood pressure.
