Lights, Camera, Action!
Ever dreamed of making your own movie? Join us these summer holidays for a hands-on, creative filmmaking workshop designed especially for 12–14 year olds. Over three exciting days, you’ll learn the art of visual storytelling—from script to screen—using iPads, green screens, lighting gear, and editing software.
• No prior experience needed—just bring your creativity!
• Don't have an iPad? No worries, we’ve got you covered.
• This workshop is only for young people aged 12 – 14 years old.
• BYO Lunch and snacks!
Workshop Breakdown
Day 1: Development & Pre-Production - Thursday 8 January
Explore media styles, genres, and storytelling techniques. Start developing your own script and plan your micro-film with your group.
Day 2: Production - Friday 9 January
Lights on, cameras rolling! Shoot your film around the Bunjil Place spaces, learning how to capture dynamic scenes and camera angles.
Day 3: Post-Production & Presentation - - Saturday 10 January
Edit your footage, add music, sound, and effects, then design a movie poster to promote your film. We’ll finish with a group screening to celebrate your work!
Thursday 8 - Saturday 10 January
