Sketching a bit of Canberra's history

Long before Canberra became a capital city, it was farmland.
Remnants of our pastoral history nestle now in suburbia, including the suburb of Kambah in Tuggeranong.

Kambah Woolshed will be our meeting point and sketch subject for October. In addition to the woolshed itself, there is a slab hut, and old Nissen Hut previously used as a hayshed now part of a community garden and circa-1960 meat house which once boasted a flyscreen door (and side screens).

So there is lots to sketch, some covered seating and most importantly plenty of parking and "facilities".
