Canberra Blues Society proudly presents Lloyd Speigel and Charlie A’Court for a special Keller Sessions Show.

Australia’s Lloyd Spiegel and Canada’s Charlie A’Court may come from opposite ends of the world but their commanding performance styles mutual passion for the Blues and death-defying touring schedules gives them a great deal in common. 

Over the past decade these two guitar slingers have collaborated several times on tours and festival bills and even released an album as part of the ‘ASV’ project with Canadian Blues legend Suzie Vinnick winning a Canadian East Coast Music Award along the way. 

Charlie is touring Australia throughout May and June and the two friends have taken the opportunity to perform a limited run of intimate double bills performing solo and together.

Lloyd Spiegel is a bluesman at his core a guitarist by trade a comedian by nature and a showman at heart. The 14 time Australian Blues Award winner began performing at age 10 and has dedicated his life to creating a signature style that honours the traditions of the music he loves while creating a link in the chain of its evolution. He delivers a unique captivating performance that crosses genres and generations blending powerful vocals and jaw-dropping guitar prowess with a knack for humour and storytelling.

Planted at the crossroads of roots and soul Charlie A’Court possesses a mighty voice fierce guitar work and contemporary songwriting that is loved by fans across Canada and beyond. As a six-time ECMA winner and eight-time Nova Scotia Music Award winner Charlie has earned awards for Blues Pop and R&B/Soul Recordings of the Year and on multiple occasions been recognized as Entertainer of the Year. A’Court has also received multiple Maple Blues Award nominations including Male Vocalist and Songwriter of the Year.
