Parent/Community Meet and Greet with Mr. Perez

A message from our principal:

Hello Laureate Park Family,

I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Laureate Park Elementary. My name is Jose Perez, and I come to you with 34 years of experience in education as a teacher, instructional coach, and school/district administrator. Family and family values, are on the top of my list of principles. I am the father of two amazing and successful children who attended OCPS schools, and husband to my wife for the past 23 years, who is also an OCPS teacher. I love reading and discussing books with my wife, tasting and discovering exotic gourmet coffees from around the world with my daughter, and bike riding with my son (He’s the athletic one who constantly drills me on the importance of health and physical fitness �).
Throughout my years in education, I have learned that schools thrive when students are supported, teachers are empowered, and communities are engaged. Please feel free to stop by and say hello. We will be hosting a parent/community meet and greet for Monday, July 28th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Laureate Park Elementary. I would love to see you all.
