HOW TO SET A STORY - A Creative Writing Workshop

The saying goes that everyone has a novel in them - we certainly all have good stories to tell, but getting them down on paper can be daunting. This two and a half hour workshop will tease out some of the complexities of how (and at what point) to start your narrative, how to develop your ideas, structure a plot, introduce characters and find your own unique voice. Participant will be encouraged to have a go and can expect constructive and supportive feedback. Please bring writing materials and a sprinkling of interesting ideas.

Kate Dunn has had six books published to critical acclaim, worked professionally as an editor and has taught creative writing at Bristol, Warwick and Cardiff Universities. You can find out more about her work at www.katedunn.co.uk
