In this workshop you will learn from a specialist permaculture-based gardener who will teach you the basics of saving seed for home garden use.
Saving seeds from the plants you grow helps you preserve and grow the same plants next year. It also saves money since you don't need to buy new seeds. Plus, you can select seeds from your best plants, which can lead to even healthier and stronger plants over time.
Seed saving also has wider importance: for preserving biodiversity, ensuring food security, and promoting local adaptation of crops, allowing for resilience against pests, diseases, and climate change.
The workshop will be lead by expert grower and tutor Peni Ediker and held in our beautiful and productive community garden at Cilrath Acre (on Cilrath Fach Farm, near Narberth)
We'd like to highlight that we have tiered ticketing available.
