The Enchanted Forest

The nocturnal forest is full of mystery, and the more you know about the night, the less frightful and more wondrous it becomes!

Join us for a family-friendly, not-so-scary night hike on Saturday, October 25. Visitors will walk a half-mile loop through our lantern-lit pines, where they will meet a delightful cast of characters and delve into the secrets of nocturnal life. Feel free to bring a flashlight; we will have red cellophane to put over your light. Additionally, cider and donuts will be available for purchase in the visitor center!

Doors open for check-in starting at 5:30pm. Please note that the 6pm-7pm timeframe is typically best for folks/kiddos who aren’t totally comfortable with the dark. During the 7pm-8pm timeframe, it will get pretty dark out on the trail since sunset is at 6:20pm!
