Irrigation Audit Workshop

Learn from UF/IFAS Extension how to set irrigation timers and audit your irrigation systems for homeowners and landscapers

About this Event

This class introduces participats to the fundamentals of irrigation systems, focusing on practical knowledge and best practices recommended by UF/IFAS. Topics include:

System Components: Understanding what makes up an irrigation system.
Sprinkler head Types: Explroing the different options and their uses.
Timer Setup: How to properly set and adjust irrigation controllers.
UF/IFAS Guidelines: Recommended irrigation amounts for healthy landscapes.
Hands-On Demonstrations: In-field exercises on collecting irrigation output to evaluate distribution and uniformity.

Participants will also take home Irrigation collection cups to be able to audit their own irrigation systems.
