It’s time for a spring clean with a difference! Join us at Anderson Park for our very first Sustainable Spring Swap – a fun, family-friendly event all about reusing, reducing waste, and connecting with our community.
What’s happening on the day:
✨ Clothing, Book & Toy Swaps – Bring quality items you no longer need and swap them for something new-to-you. (1 item in = 1 item out)
✨ Predator-Free Trapping Info – Learn how you can help protect native wildlife.
✨ Mini Composting Workshops – Quick demos to get you started at home.
✨ Sustainable Pledge Photo Booth – Make a pledge for the planet and snap a photo for our pledge wall!
✨ Green Games & Biodiversity Hunt – Fun for tamariki and adults!
✨ Plogging Activity – Join us to pick up rubbish while you walk.
✨ Repair Café & Plastic-Free Swaps Table – Learn how to repair, reuse and swap everyday items.
When: Wednesday 1st October, 10am - 2pm
Where: Anderson Park, Napier
What to bring:
- Good quality clothes, books, or toys to swap
- A picnic (plastic-free if you can!)
- A reusable bag to take your new treasures home
- Your whānau and friends!
