Ahuriri Matariki

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: 𝐀𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐫𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐢 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝

With the weather not shaping up the way we’d hoped, we’ve made the decision to postpone our Ahuriri Matariki event from Friday 27 June to 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟒 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲.

We know many of you were looking forward to coming along this week, but safety and comfort come first, and strong winds and rain don’t mix well with an outdoor celebration.

The new date falls in the school holidays, making it a great chance to gather the whānau for an evening of kai, kapa haka, and culture under the stars.

We’re still planning for the same time and place, 5.30pm to 8.30pm at the Napier Soundshell, and we’ll be sharing more details about our performers and food vendors soon, so stay tuned!
