Volunteer Morning: Riverview Farmstead Preserve

Get some fresh air and exercise while helping to make a difference in your community by attending one or more of the Forest Preserve’s volunteer mornings. Activities will include seed collection.

Age: Ages 8 and older.

Please wear clothes appropriate for the weather, getting dirty and being near a fire. The ground will be uneven and covered with vegetation. Long pants, sturdy shoes and socks covering the ankles are recommended. Bringing water and snacks is recommended.

Work will take place on uneven terrain that is primarily natural surface.
