It is a dark and stormy afternoon…

…when Haley, the heroine who saved Willowweep Manor, is summoned back. Another pocket universe is collapsing, and the survivors are seeking refuge on Willowweep. Everything in Willowweep has always worked like a gothic romance novel—and that’s just the way Haley likes it. But she and her friends soon discover that the newcomers follow a different pattern…a pattern of mystery, misdeeds, and suspicious tea.

As the newcomers transform the manor, a M**der rocks Willowweep. Haley searches for the culprit, but the world she adores is disappearing beneath her feet. What’s worse, one by one, her friends are vanishing too. It’s up to Haley to get to the bottom of this mind-boggling mystery. Can she become the new kind of heroine Willowweep needs?

Shaenon K. Garrity is a cartoonist and writer best known for Narbonic, Skin Horse (cowritten with Jeffrey C. Wells), and the Willowweep Manor graphic novels (with art by Christopher Baldwin). She lives in Berkeley with a cat, a man, a boy, and some chickens.
