"The Angels' Song" - Festive Music and Poetry to celebrate the Christmas Story

It's the perfect way to step into Christmas. If you enjoy a mix of the old and the new, familiar words in new settings and a sprinkling of traditional carols, you will love this event. Audience participation is invited in "See amid the Winter's Snow" and "Away in a Manger". We honour John Rutter's 80th birthday with his popular and delightful "Donkey Carol". We continue to champion contemporary composers such as Cecilia McDowall, Amy Bebbington and Sarah Quartel with their glorious new music. This year we are also incorporating some Christmas poetry (Causley, UA Fanthorpe and Wendy Cope). Refreshments are included. Earlybird tickets just £12.50, or £14 on the door. U18s free.
