Discovering Medieval St Mary's Nantwich
A talk by Katie Everett, Wednesday 10th September 2pm in Church
Beginning with the architecture of the late thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, Katie will examine existing visual evidence to highlight the medieval parts of the church that we know and love today.
A Nantwich girl, Katie has just graduated in History of Art from Warwick University and her talk will present the results of her dissertation study of St Mary's which was highly commended by her lecturers, and given a first class mark, as it really tries to push the boundaries of what we know about the medieval church.
You are guaranteed to learn something new, about St Mary's now, and about what has been lost.
