About the event

"Runnin' for a Cause, Not from the Cops" NPCA 1st Annual 5k
Join us for the Nantucket Police Charitable Association's First Annual 5K Charity Race on May 17, 2025 starting at 8:00am at Surfside Beach Parking Lot!

Runnin' for a Cause, Not from the Cops 5K race is not just about fitness, but also about giving back to our island community. All funds raised will go directly to local initiatives, supporting the people of Nantucket. In the past, we have used funds raised to give graduating high school seniors and alumni scholarships, the annual Children’s Christmas Party, our Pink Patch Project supporting the Marla Ceely Lamb fund as well as youth programs, and other local community based organizations.

Whether you are a runner, walker, or volunteer, we need you to help us make this event a success!
