With over 2800 performances throughout over 25 countries under his belt, He’ll be bringing that experience and worldly energy to the stage both as a rapper and DJ. He recently celebrated his first platinum and gold records for his work on Dani and Lizzy’s Dancing in the sky single. He’s also set to release a full-length album in 2025 as well as his first written book “Field Trips”. From song writing and graffiti workshops to bass music, rap and putting on events… Emotionz is a true ambassador of the arts.

ALPHA CENTAURI is a hip hop artist based in Nanaimo/ Vancouver that offers up a unique sound blending hip hop, funk, r&b, and afro-beat music - with important conscious lyrics - who records and plays with a full band. Over the past 3 years he has played numerous music festivals across British Columbia and has opened for artists such as JA RULE, Method Man/Redman, Chali 2na/ Cut Chemist (of Jurassic 5), and Toronto soul songstress Tanika Charles - as well as with Vancouver area artists such as Moka Only, Sirreal, Junk, Ndidi Cascade, Emotionz, Hardbody Dreams, Brass Camel, Naduh, and more . He has released a number of singles during this time leading to the release of his debut album in May 2025. Summer/fall of 2025 will see ALPHA CENTAURI playing shows with an American multi-platinum/ Grammy winning hip hop icon (details TBA) and a cross Canada stadium tour for a different American hip hop legend (details TBA)- as well as numerous summer festival appearances.
