2025 NANAIMO DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL

The 20-year-plus Nanaimo Dragon Boat Festival is back in town for 2025! Join in the fun of full weekend of 500m races and the hair-raising Guts-and-Glory championship races in beautiful Nanaimo Harbour.

Visitors: come on out and support one of Canada's oldest and much-loved dragon boat festivals in Nanaimo's spectacular waterfront venue, Maffeo Sutton Park. There's lots to do for families, including an adventure park on site, as well as grown-up music and performances hosted by Nanaimo's Crimson Coast Dance Society. Food trucks; paddler and public fun; and fantastic paddling!
