Every Wednesday, I'm flipping the script at Live Lounge — and no two nights are the same... Except this one. This one might feel the same.
When I first came to Bangkok, Raw Comedy at Live Lounge was the center of comedy in this city. So many talented people, and even more untalented ones, coming through every Wednesday night to make a packed house laugh.
Everyone moved on to cooler things, Jackson Foshay went back to Cali to be an author, Justin St Denis got married and started shitting out kids and finally Chris Raufeisen. Chris finally came out of the closet and flew to back to America to try and suck Tony Hinchcliffe's D.
So as Raw lives only in the hearts and memories of what was, this Wednesday, August 6th at 7pm I'll be hosting a free open mic at the Live Lounge as a tribute to the legacy Chris built.
BUT NEXT WEEK...
It might be a killer stand-up lineup, a comedy debate where comedians battle it out with punchlines, an experimental character showcase, or a surprise drop-in from an international headliner passing through town. One thing’s for sure: it’ll be the most unpredictable and entertaining night of the week.
