The spirit behind our Distorted Image events is all about passion—a desire to bring a thriving nightclub culture to the Sunshine Coast. We know there are plenty of adults out there looking for a proper night out. A place to let go, connect through music, and dance like nobody's watching.
The nightclub has always been more than just a venue—it’s escapism, it’s raw beauty, it’s movement, spiritual energy, and pure hedonism. Since day one, our goal has been to craft nights that deliver that kind of energy. Moments that stay with you.
We build these events for the people—and this is what we’re bringing to Volume 4:
A lineup of hand-picked veteran DJs spinning the finest underground sounds: Jordxy, MichaelAngelo, Xperimental, Sublife, djcat, Stretch, Kid B, Indillectual
A full sonic journey: Vinyl House, Garage, Tech House, Afro House, Techno, Melodic Techno, Trance, and Hard Trance.
Vivid stage and art design by our resident artist Letgo—a pioneer in the street art scene, known for his incredible aerosol murals.
Festival-quality sound system: A true wall of sound inside the acoustically crisp Black Box Theatre (for the heads—C4 Audiotechnik x 8, 2 x Subs).
High-calibre production by our friends at CMT Event Architects. We won't spoil it, but let’s just say: the dancefloor will never look the same.
The Black Box Theatre, Nambour—an iconic space we transform into our very own little Berlin-style nightclub.
Not-for-profit bar run by the venue, offering fairly priced craft beers, ciders, RTDs, wine, bubbles, and ginger beer.
This is your space. A place to let loose, meet others, move your body, and grow through connection. We're all about inclusivity, collaboration, and community. This is a dance floor for everyone.

We would like to honour the traditional custodians of the land in which we are using for this event - The Gubbi Gubbi People. The local indigenous name for Nambour is actually 'Namba'. Did you know it refers to the Tea Tree that grows red flowers in the surrounding area. There are hidden indigenous tracks and markings throughout the bush surrounding Namba. We would like to pay our thanks and respect to the ancient owners of this land in which we play.
