September is a great time of year to be in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Imagine staying at a prime oceanfront resort, enjoying the incredible weather that September provides, all while enjoying a four-day amazing photography workshop with two well respected professional instructors, Robert Fawcett and David Blecman
THE OUTER BANKS SEPTEMBER 2025 / Workshop Details:
-Geared towards photographers of all skill levels and designed with a simple approach to avoid technical overload.
-Hands on "In Field" shooting with support for decision on camera settings, composition and varied techniques for each outing
-Instruction (Instructors are National Park permit holders, First Aid/CPR certified and Insured)
-We will operate between Nags Head, Pea Island, Manteo, and Currituck with plenty of beautiful daytime scenes in between
-We will capture sunrise, sunset, landscapes by day and capture night scenes that include the stars.
-We will talk about Apps used for methods on planning for shooting under the best quality of light.
-Simplified philosophy and technique utilizing your camera manually on what photography is: ISO f/Stop (aperture) and Shutter.
-Utilizing the above to make confident decisions and control the outcome of your images and vision
-Guidance on the proper camera settings for your DSLR/Mirrorless for Landscapes, Nightscapes using Filters, Long Exposures*, Exposure Blending, Focus Stacking, and Noise Reduction techniques
*at least a 10 stop Neutral Density filter (screw on) is recommended for daytime long exposures. A polarizing filter is also suggested
