Would you like to learn how to find and identify edible mushrooms in the wild? Do you want to feel confident about what you put in your basket, know how to handle your harvest, and get tips on delicious ways to prepare it?
Then you’re warmly welcome to join us on a guided mushroom walk through the late summer forest.
During the walk, you’ll learn how mushrooms grow, what environments they thrive in, and how to pick them in a sustainable way. We’ll go through common edible species, toxic ones, and look-alikes. You’ll also get practical advice on how to store and cook your mushrooms once you’re home.
This walk is suitable both for complete beginners and for those who already pick mushrooms and want to deepen their knowledge. The goal is to make you a more confident mushroom forager and to inspire creative cooking with nature’s ingredients.
Bring: weather-appropriate clothing, a mushroom basket, a knife, and something to snack on during the walk.
