In a world first, researchers at Monash University are trialling psilocybin-assisted therapy to treat Generalised Anxiety Disorder. Stepping into the Unknown offers an unprecedented inside look at this groundbreaking study, following participants through their preparation, psychedelic dosing sessions, and their deeply personal therapeutic process.

Filmed over two years, this one-of-a-kind documentary highlights the work of Dr. Paul Liknaitzky, head of Australia’s first clinical psychedelic laboratory and a leading figure in the global field of psychedelic science.

Following the screening, Dr. Liknaitzky will be present for a live conversation about the making of the film, the challenges and opportunities of this research, and his view on the future of psychedelic-assisted therapy.
