Szanowni Państwo, serdecznie zapraszamy na otwarcie wystawy „MINDBOOM 2025: TO THE FREEDOM, AND WE DANCE” w piątek 5 września 2025 na godzinę 18.00 do WGS BWA, Galerii Sztuki Współczesnej, przy ul. Wysockiego 29.
Czy możemy naprawdę powiedzieć, że osiągnęliśmy pełną wolność? Nawet po zakończeniu opresji fizycznej wciąż żyjemy w niewidzialnych granicach kształtowanych przez konwencje kulturowe, wspomnienia historyczne i struktury postrzegania. Te granice regulują nasze zmysły, przerywają naszą mowę i ograniczają zakres tego, co możemy sobie wyobrazić – często sprawując kontrolę nad głębszymi warstwami naszego codziennego życia tak subtelnie i podstępnie jak kiedyś czyniła to represja polityczna.
Wystawa MINDBOOM 2025: Do Wolności, my tańczymy powstała jako upamiętnienie dwóch symbolicznych momentów: 80. rocznicy wyzwolenia Korei Południowej oraz 105. rocznicy Dnia Zwycięstwa w Polsce. Choć różne geograficznie i historycznie, oba te wydarzenia wpisują się w globalną opowieść o pragnieniu wolności i cenie, jaką trzeba za nią zapłacić. Wystawa wychodzi jednak poza same daty – bada, czym wolność staje się dziś, w świecie zdominowanym przez niewidzialne formy kontroli: konwencje społeczne, struktury percepcji, kulturowe traumy. W tym kontekście spotykają się artyści z Azji i Europy, podejmując wspólny taniec poza granicami języka i geopolityki.
Do udziału w wystawie, której organizatorami są wrocławska Galeria FOTO-GEN, Wałbrzyska Galeria Sztuki BWA oraz południowokoreańska Global Peace Arts & Culture Foundation (PACF), zaproszeni zostali: Supachai Satsara, Photo Archive, Tooraj Khamenehzadeh, Jeong Kahee, Lan Chung-Hsuan, Mozelle, Nam Dahoon, ENDO Mai x MOMOSE Aya, Kim Jung-han, siren eun young jung, Na Hyun, Kim Shin-il, Józef Robakowski, Igor Wójcik oraz Ala Savashevich.

Dear Guests, We warmly invite you to the opening of the exhibition "MINDBOOM 2025: TO THE FREEDOM, AND WE DANCE" on Friday, September 5th, 2025, at 6:00 PM at WGS BWA, the Contemporary Art Gallery, located at 29 Wysockiego Street.
Can we truly say we have attained complete freedom? Even after the end of physical oppression, we continue to live within invisible boundaries shaped by cultural conventions, historical memories, and structures of perception. These boundaries regulate our senses, interrupt our speech, and limit the scope of what we can imagine – often exerting control over the deeper layers of our daily lives as subtly and insidiously as political repression once did.
The exhibition MINDBOOM 2025: To the Freedom, We Dance was created to commemorate two symbolic moments – the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation and the 105th anniversary of Victory Day in Poland. Although geographically and historically distinct, each event is part of a global narrative of the desire for freedom and the price that must be paid for it. The exhibition goes beyond the dates themselves though. It explores what freedom is becoming today in a world dominated by invisible forms of control such as social conventions, structures of perception, and cultural traumas. In this context, artists from Asia and Europe have come together, engaging in a shared dance beyond the boundaries of language and geopolitics.
The following artists were invited to participate in the exhibition, organized by the FOTO-GEN Gallery in Wrocław, the BWA Art Gallery in Wałbrzych and the South Korean Global Peace Arts & Culture Foundation (PACF): Supachai Satsara, Photo Archive, Tooraj Khamenehzadeh, Jeong Kahee, Lan Chung-Hsuan, Mozelle, Nam Dahoon, ENDO Mai x MOMOSE Aya, Kim Jung-han, siren eun young jung, Na Hyun, Kim Shin-il, Józef Robakowski, Igor Wójcik and Ala Savashevich.
