Step into the world of nature journaling, a simple yet powerful practice that helps you slow down, look closely, and truly connect with the natural world. Inspired by the approach of John Muir Laws and the Wild Wonder Foundation, this 4-hour hands-on workshop is open to all ages and experience levels—no art skills required! Led by Jonah Salsich, a lifelong nature-lover, artistic hobbyist, and elementary school teacher in Stonington Public Schools.
Nature journaling combines words, pictures, and numbers to explore the outdoors with curiosity and wonder. Whether you’re jotting down a bird’s call, sketching a leaf, or noting the texture of bark, journaling deepens your appreciation for the environment, encourages mindfulness, and helps you document your experiences in nature in a fun and creative way.
