Decorate Like A Pro

Decorate like a Pro- Patience and practice are necessary for any skill. In this class you will learn how to make a buttercream suitable for piping and each student will practice piping and then decorate their own 6” cake and 6 cupcakes. I will demonstrate another buttercream and some piping techniques as well.

Hello all, I started working at Kitch last year after closing my long time business You Take The Cake after nearly 20 years. I graduated from Culinary Institute of America in NY and began working for Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, FL in their bakery. I have also worked for The Strathallan in Rochester NY, Foxwoods, Mystic Market and Thames River Greenery’s coffee shop. With so many different baking experiences I am excited to now teach and share my experience. This class will be a combination of hands on participation and demonstration by me. No matter what your skill level, we will have fun, and you will learn the baking techniques I have developed in my 20 years of professional baking experience. Class fee is $75, and best of all, you get to take home what we make! Classes are limited to 6 people, for the most personal experience. If a class gets cancelled due to lack of participation, you will be offered a full refund, or the ability choose another class. We look forward to seeing you in the kitchen, at Kitch!

Disclaimer: All Kitch baking classes are cost + tax. Classes must be paid for in advance. If the class size is too small and needs to be cancelled, you have the option of a full refund, or a seat in a future class. Classes are limited to 6 people unless otherwise noted and are on a first come, first served basis. Participants must be at least 21 years of age unless otherwise noted. Any cancelations must be at least 24 hours in advance to be eligible for a refund or credit for another class. No shows/no calls will forfeit the class fee.
