Community Taizé Service - Silence and Singing

Do you crave silence, candlelight, and meditative singing during the week in this crazy world?
Come in a few minutes early, and sit in candlelight silence, there is a program to follow with lyrics, sing or don't sing... speak or pray together, or remain silent, no right way to do Taizé... Come and be present in this safe space. we begin at 6:30pm. Everyone welcome.

What is Taizé?
In Taizé France, an ecumenical monastic community was founded by Brother Roger Schütz in the 1940s. People from different countries and backgrounds could gather for meditative prayer. The gatherings include a lot of silence, repetitive singing, very short readings, and….of course...candles! 🙂
Today, Taizé attracts tens of thousands of people from around the world... to sing and pray and to discuss what they feel are the most urgent issues of their time (e.g., climate emergency, political uncertainty….).
