🌿 Marshland Mosey: Exploring Nearby Nature by Bike
Muskegon is surrounded by incredible natural spaces—marshes, forests, dunes, lakeshores—but many of us drive past them every day without really seeing them.
Marshland Mosey is a new group ride series from MCBC's Bike Co-op designed to change that.
These slow, social bike rides are meant to reconnect people with those wilder spaces hidden within and just beyond the city limits. We'll ride out together — at an easy pace — and land in a local or state park for coffee, conversation, and time to explore what makes each place unique.
Whether you're new to riding longer distances or just looking for an excuse to spend more time outside, this is an invitation to slow down and notice what's around you.
What to expect:
A relaxed group ride (party pace = no drop)
Destinations include under-the-radar natural areas, parks, and publicly-accessible land
Trail-side coffee with friends from Aldea (no beer, no pressure)
Casual conversation about our unique lands, access, and conservation for those curious
An open, community-forward space focused on shared experience, not performance
This is not a race. It's not a flex. It's a chance to ride like you did when you were a kid — curious, open, and free.
📍 Rides will start at Aldea in Muskegon and head out toward our surrounding natural areas. Destinations announced before each ride.
☕ Bring your own coffee-making supplies. If you forget, we'll have some to share.
