The inaugural Muscatine Triathlon, presented by Sqwincher®, is set for Aug. 2, offering participants a scenic and challenging race designed for athletes of all levels. Recognized by USA Triathlon, the event will feature the largest prize purse in the U.S. in 2025, adding an exciting element for elite competitors.

Participants will start with a 750-meter swim, a 12.4-mile bike ride, and finish with a 5K run. The
race takes place at Deep Lakes Park, which has seen significant community investment in
recent years. In addition to the race, there will be activities the entire family can enjoy, such as
a farmers’ market, a kid’s fitness zone, and more. Following the event, there will be an after-
party with live music, food, and drinks.
