**Tree-Lighting Festival Getting Closer!!**
Let's Light Up The Night!!
Garden City Beach's annual Christmas Tree Lighting Festival will be held Monday, December 8 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event, staged by the Garden City Beach Community Association, will be held at 208 Atlantic Avenue, in the new parking lot at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Dogwood Drive.
A group of nine residents including the GCBCA Board has been working hard on fine-tuning this event, as it is less than two weeks away.
We have confirmed over 20 vendors will be on hand, and the Belin United Methodist Church's Chancel and Children's choirs will make an appearance.
The evening will be culminated by the lighting of a large Christmas Tree, fresh from western North Carolina, and the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Clause.
Food trucks will be on hand, with The Quay Seafood Grille, Sarah J's and The Salty Pickle confirmed.
The Pier at Garden City will be providing refreshments and the popular S'mores will back again this year.
We are expecting this year's tree-lighting festival to be epic - a can't miss event!
