Sew Your Own Undies!

Discover where creativity and comfort meet by learning how to make your own underwear! Starting with Ann Tilley’s original patterns as a jumping-off point, we will modify the style based on the desired fit of each maker. Students can choose from bikini briefs, high-waisted, or boxer briefs. We will learn how to choose and work with knit fabrics for sewing and how to construct them on a regular sewing machine. This class is gender-spectrum-friendly and size-inclusive.
The teacher will provide all materials which include 4-way stretch knit fabric, thread, fold-over elastic, elastic lace, and band elastic, as finishing options, but students are welcome to bring any material options they might be interested in using.
