Human Trafficking in Middle TN - RCYR May Meeting

This month we welcome Detective Sam Day to share with us about the tragic human trafficking happening right in our own community and what we can do to help stop it. ​Human trafficking remains a pressing concern in Middle Tennessee, encompassing both urban centers like Nashville and surrounding rural areas. The region has consistently reported the highest number of human trafficking tips in the state. Sam will tell us what law enforcement is doing to combat this issue, as well as share about civilian organizations that we can partner with and how to spot potential human trafficking and how to report it. Together, we can make a difference and protect innocent lives from this horrendous industry.
