THURSDAY, AUGUST 14th - (7:00 p.m.) STAR WARS: UNLIMITED DRAFT EVENT - Entry fee: $20
Save the galaxy…..or dominate it…..with today’s round of STAR WARS: UNLIMITED constructed play! This game is limited to 24 players. Here’s how this event will work:
• Each player receives three STAR WARS packs to start the draft – they may choose from the different available expansions we have on hand.
• You’ll open the pack carefully without peeking at any of the contents
• You’ll remove the Leader and the Base from your packs (the rest of the cards remain in the packs without being looked at) - the bases are put in the middle of the table to share, and the Leaders are placed in front of you.
• You will then pick one of the three LEADERS to keep, and pass the rest to your right. You will then get to pick from the two Leaders passed to you, and then you will get handed one more. Leaders remain face up and visible on the table, meaning everyone in your draft pod will know what leaders everyone else has.
• After that, the drafting continues like a normal TCG draft. Pick a card and pass the rest of the pack on, until all cards have been drafted.
• Players must build a minimum 30 card deck.
• You can include any cards from the game, but the normal rules applies when playing. If you have a card that does not share an aspect with your leader or your base, it will cost 2 more for each aspect you’re missing. However, there is no penalty for using these cards as a resource instead.
• For today’s game, you will be playing FOUR rounds. Each round has a time limit of 30 minutes, and will be a BEST-OF-ONE game.
All other players receive the following prizes:
1st place wins $25 in store credit
Win 3 or 4 rounds - $15 in store credit
Win 2 rounds - $10 in store credit
Win 1 or 0 rounds - $5 in store credit
