Over 50 dancers from modern jazz and hip-hop to high heels and impressive video projections bring this magical show to life! SKYBIRDS is a unique production by the Performing Arts Studios in Munich together with professional dancers from the Munich dance/theatre and musical scene.

SKYBIRDS is a thrilling dance musical that captivates audiences visually musically and through dance. It tells the inspiring story of Icarus the Seagull who lands on an island where the birds have almost completely forgotten how to fly. When the newly appointed flock leader Blackbeak seizes power flying is banned altogether. Anyone who flies or attempts to learn is cruelly punished. But Icarus' courage and belief in freedom and flight change everything...

The premiere is on Saturday July 12 2025 at 8:00 PM in the "Carl Orff Hall" @FATCAT formerly the Gasteig with further performances on Sunday July 13 2025.
