Clay Gnome

October 1st create in clay & October 15th return to paint

Whatever the season, these fun gnomes are simply adorable! Use handbuilding techniques to create a base, and texture the hat so each one is unique. Return for the 2nd class to paint accents with glaze. Unpainted areas will be the earthy speckled brown of our stoneware clay!

*If you can't attend the 2nd class to paint, you must return during our walk-in hours within 2 weeks to paint your gnome. After 2 weeks, unpainted gnomes will be clear glazed at our discretion and fired without color.

Clay washes out, but remember to wear mess-friendly clothes. Projects will remain in the studio to dry before firing, clear glazing, and re-firing. Pieces will be available for pickup approx. 10 days after you return to paint.
