HOOTS Muncie Weekend 2025

Hoosiers Out on Tandems is hosting a weekend of tandem riding and social activities in Muncie, Indiana this year. Muncie is the home of Ball State University and, for many years, headquarters for the Ball Jar company. The routes will follow country roads on the south and north side of Muncie as well as utilizing the Cardinal Greenway.
The fee for the weekend is $25 per team and includes the entrance fee to Summit Lake State Park on the Friday afternoon ride. Please register for the weekend at https://MTR.redpodium.com/hoots-muncie-weekend-2025.

The host hotel for the event is the Hampton Inn on the north side of town. We have 25 rooms blocked at a rate of $169 per night (reservations cancellable up to 24 hours before arrival date). The room block availability expires on May 16th, make sure to get your room reserved promptly. You can reserve a room on-line with the link shown below or call the hotel at 765-288-8500 and register in the block with the group code: HOT.
There are a number of other hotels in the immediate vicinity (Holiday Inn Express, Fairfield, Comfort Inn) if you prefer a different option. We recommend the campground at Prairie Creek Reservoir for any RVers. Our Friday ride will start from that park.
