The NCPA Library’s Page to Stage series launches the Gujarati edition of Travels with Nandighosh: Demystifying Krishna by Satish Mutatkar. The book, presented as a fictional journey in a camper named Nandighosh, captures dialogues that unravel the many dimensions of Krishna’s life, his wisdom, strategic mind, playfulness and philosophical side, making him accessible beyond myth and ritual.
The author’s introduction of the book will be followed by dramatised readings by National Award-winning actor Manoj Joshi and veteran Gujarati theatre personality Utkarsh Mazumdar; reflections from translator Vibhavan Mehta, an accomplished sitarist and AIR artiste; and perspectives from Avinash Parikh, former member of the Gujarat Sahitya Academy, and Dr. Sucheta Paranjape, who has completed her PhD in Vedic Literature.
