Perfect as a stand-alone taster or a stepping stone toward the Level 2 Hairdressing Diploma, this course is designed to build your confidence in styling and caring for hair.

During the course, you will explore:

• Health and Safety: Key legislation, first aid basics, hygiene standards, PPE, and creating a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Consultation & Customer Care: How to consult, communicate effectively, understand client needs, and deliver exceptional service.
• Shampooing & Product Knowledge: Techniques for shampooing, selecting suitable products, understanding hair types, and pH theory.
• Introduction to Colour: Basics of colour theory, including the colour star, tone, depth, and types of colour.
• Blow Drying & Tools: Correct use of styling tools, sectioning, product application, and professional blow-drying techniques.
• Heat Styling & Dressing Hair: Mastering waves, curls, and other styles using heat tools safely.
• Hairdressing Theory: Overview of hair structure, hair growth stages, salon duties, shampoo science, and identifying common infections/diseases.
