Running seems like such a natural activity, but it is very rare to get any specific instruction on how to do it properly. In fact, rather than an activity we can all do perfectly from childhood, running is a skill that can be taught and learned, just like any other skill or technique.

Join a friendly small group workshop either on your own or with a friend - all are welcome**
You will learn:
- Correct running posture
- How to avoid over striding
- Foot striking technique
- What shoes should you be wearing
- Strength and mobility exercises to help your running technique
Saturday 11th October 2025
- Duration: 7am-9am (2 hours)
- Cost: $50 per person (pay on the day).
- Location: Somerset Park Athletics Oval, Swanton Drive, Mudgeeraba.
- What to bring: Running shoes and clothes, hat, sunscreen, drink and food.
- How fit do I need to be? Total running distance will be about 3km including a voluntary warm up. The workshop is aimed at all levels and ages of runners and you will only need a basic level of fitness to get the full running technique experience.

**Suggested minimum age is 12 years old but please contact me if you have a younger child who would like to join.
