Disaster Recovery Open Day

We all know that the Gold Coast Hinterland can be severely impacted when natural disaster strikes. In order to build resilience, we are putting together an afternoon open today to educate people about the following topics:

• Generators: benefits, how to use and service, etc
• Septic systems/biocycle management during power outages
• Communications and connectivity
• Solar and batteries benefits
• Community groups and what they can offer
• The Mudgeeraba Uniting Church as a relief hub

There will be a free sausage sizzle, and goodies available from the Church cafe.
