4:00pm Saturday Mincha with Seudah Shlishit (סעודה שלישית) or “third meal,” the final, traditional meal eaten by Sabbath-observing Jews on Saturday afternoon before Shabbat ends at sundown, fulfilling the Torah commandment to have three distinct meals on Shabbat (Friday night, Saturday morning, and Saturday afternoon). It’s a time for reflection, singing, and spiritual connection as the Sabbath concludes. Reb Zalman of blessed memory taught that this was the holiest time of Shabbat as the day rolls into night, an important time to gather and imbibe the holy spirit. We will honor Rosh Chodesh Shevat with continuing discussions of the Hallel Psalms.

5:40 p.m. Saturday Havdalah concludes the Shabbaton.
