A Stroke Journey: Multidisciplinary Seminar on the 23rd of May at Mater Dei Hospital

🧠 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 – 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐔𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐲!

As part of the Stroke Awareness Month this May, the Maltese Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (MSPRM) is organising a morning seminar aimed at increasing awareness on stroke pathology, acute care, rehabilitation and the whole patient journey that individuals who suffer from stroke have gone through from day one until community re-integration.

The MSPRM is collaborating with the Stroke Team from Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, the Maltese Association of Neurologists and Neurosurgeons (MANNS) and the University of Malta in order to create a true multidisciplinary event aimed at all healthcare professionals

We'll feature speakers from various professions discussing topics related to stroke rehabilitation and acute care, along with first-hand testimonials from individuals who have experienced the stroke journey themselves.
