I look forward to calling in Moxee, WA, again on May 23 - 26, 2025, for the 36th Annual Yakima Memorial Day PLUS Weekend. Ron Woolcock & Georgine will be our round dance leaders for the weekend and the 23rd Annual Trail-In Round Dance on May 22 & 23.
Both these events are sponsored by local square and round dance clubs, the Yakima Gateswingers and the Silhouette Dancers, who also help maintain the beautiful Yakima Square & Round Dance Center facility in Moxee, WA, where we will be dancing.
We have lots of Plus square dancing and Phase 2 through 6 round dancing to entertain you all weekend. Program details and registration forms are in the attached posters.
Thank you to the many dancers who pre-registered last year and have already registered this year. If you are considering attending, the discounted advance registration rate is only available until May 7.
RVs can camp at the hall, but you need to register soon, as space is limited. There are also State and Private RV campgrounds nearby.
If you would like to stay in a hotel/motel there are several nearby, and the Best Western Ahtanum (only about 11 minutes from the hall) is offering a special price of $99.99/night for May 23-26 if you request the “Plus Weekend Square Dance” rate.

Therese and I always enjoy this weekend since it provides lots of dance time to share a wide range of music and fun and interesting choreography, as well as lots of opportunities to socialise with all the dancers at the potlucks, afterparties in the hall, and the trail-out pancake breakfast.
