Join us on June 1st for a timely discussion with Nikki Hanson, Native Plant Landscaping Ecologist, as we explore the vital role of tree canopies--especially native species--in our environment. While Arbor Day has passed, our commitment to trees continues! Learn how to care for them efficiently, from selecting the best species to planting and maintaining them for long-term health. We'll also address the challenges facing oak trees, including Sudden Oak Death.
This is a broad topic, and we want to make the most of our 45-60 minutes, including Q&A--so bring your questions! And don't forget to bring your friends! Whether they're homeowners, gardeners, or nature enthusiasts, everyone can benefit from this conversation.
After the talk, join us for an optional short native plant walk where we'll highlight key native species.
