The 1st Annual Mountain Home Volksmarch is more than just a walk—it's a chance to connect with your neighbors, enjoy the outdoors, and raise money for a great cause!
All ages & fitness levels are welcome, as well as dogs, kids, and strollers!
Food and drinks will be available for purchase at noon, including a traditional German bratwurst.
🚶♀️🚶♂️ What’s a Volksmarch?
"Volksmarch" means "people's walk" in German. It’s a beloved tradition that started in the 1960s in Europe, especially in Germany, where communities would gather for non-competitive walks through scenic routes. There’s no racing, no medals—just fresh air, friendly faces, and maybe a bratwurst or two at the end.
Your $5 registration includes a commemorative pin, a walking pass to stamp at each station along the way, and a bottle of water for the walk.
All proceeds go to the Doyel Ray Hope Center, which supports the community in meaningful ways.
